How to properly cleanse your face? Natural products you can find in the kitchen
Lotions, two-phase emulsions, micellar water… all of them are used for make-up removal and cleansing your facial skin. You can probably agree that most of them are doing quite well, thoroughly remove make-up and impurities, and take care of your skin. Sometimes, however, even the most gentle products can cause irritation. What to do then? Replace the drugstore cosmetics with natural products that can be found in… your own kitchen.
Cosmetics oils
Many girls use cosmetic oils for make-up removal and cleansing facial skin. Coconut, avocado and olive oil are great products for skin care. They might as well be useful in the treatment of your hair and nails. Oils contain many valuable vitamins, minerals and fatty acids. They soothe, protect against solar radiation, moisturise and nourish the skin. What is very important is that oils are very universal. This is why they are recommended for the care of all skin types, regardless of age and gender. Oils work great even with all kinds of waterproof cosmetics. What you should do is to gently press your skin with the cotton pad moistened with oil of your choice and wait a moment until the make-up dissolves. You do not have to rub your skin hard. What is more, it is even forbidden! You could irritate the skin and damage your eyelashes or eyebrows.
Honey and aloe vera
In the kitchen you will be able to find other natural products, which will be perfect for cleansing your facial skin. The best and most popular are honey, aloe vera, milk, yogurt and cucumber or lemon juice. All of the products will perfectly nurture and nourish the skin. They provide antibacterial, moisturising and smoothing effects. Therefore, they are a great means to refresh the skin and lighten any pigmentation. In addition, honey, aloe vera, milk, yogurt, and fruit or vegetable juices are not only great for toning the face but also for taking care of your hair. As components of facial and body scrubs, they will take care of your complexion in a 100%.
